The Lansky® 3-Hone Standard Diamond Controlled-Angle Sharpening System combines the proven Lansky controlled-angle system with aggressive diamond abrasive technology. The guided design helps users maintain a consistent sharpening angle while working through different stages of edge reconditioning and maintenance.

The system includes three monocrystalline diamond hones ranging from coarse to fine. The Standard Knife Clamp securely holds the blade and keeps the selected angle consistent during sharpening, making the system suitable for both beginners and experienced users.

With four selectable sharpening angles—17°, 20°, 25°, and 30°—the system can be configured according to the intended use of the blade.

The diamond hones use a metal plate coated with monocrystalline diamond abrasive. They will naturally wear over time, with lifespan depending on usage frequency, blade steel hardness, and sharpening pressure.

• Use approximately the weight of your hand when sharpening with diamond hones.
• Do not use honing oil on diamond hones.
• Oil can clog the diamond surface and reduce its effectiveness.
• Clean diamond hones using dish soap, water, and the included soft-bristled nylon brush.
• Rinse thoroughly and allow the hones to dry completely before use.
• Begin with the coarse diamond hone when removing significant amounts of steel, then progress toward finer hones.
